Jassi & The Captain 2019 Christmas

I cant believe its christmas time already. At Planet Jassi the year has just gone by so quickly. This is the last video for 2019.

In this video Jassi is getting tired as she finds getting ready for christmas so exhausting. Christmas can be very tiring as we get ready for the celebrations, there is putting up the christmas tree, buying presents, planning the festive feast and not to mention lots of visiting.

The Captain reminds Jassi that photos need to be done as having Santa photos is a ritual that most people do to signal its christmas and get ready for the christmas season. Jassi is not a big fan of having her photo taken with the Man in the big red suit and shopping centres where everyone will be watching.

In this video see how the day unfolds.

Watch Jassi go through a rollercoaster of emotions from high to low and back up to high as Jassi is pushed out of her comfort zone.

All is not lost as with her good friend The Captain by her side Jassi has nothing to worry about.

Christmas time can be very exhausting and overwhelming for everyone and for individuals with autism this can be a very anxious time with heaps of sensory overload.

To help support your child and keep your sanity choose one thing to work on each year and remember to have fun.

Use the Christmas season to teach your child new skills and include helping others to reinforce giving as well as receiving.
